Jennifer Prospero, Stacey Lane and Emily Giltner have been named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) 2020 Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list, which celebrates the most influential women in staffing. Giltner, Lane and Prospero work for Staffmark Group, a member of RGF Staffing. RGF Staffing is proud that the three have been awarded. We consider diversity and inclusion of paramount importance. It’s the sixth year SIA has released the Global Power 150 Women in Staffing List. “The list highlights 100 women from the Americas and 50 globally who have made significant contributions to the success of their companies and the ecosystem. These are women who are making a difference by building new companies, products, divisions and creating a future of work where women and men can thrive”, the organization writes.

Emily Giltner

Emily GiltnerEmily Giltner is senior VP of enterprise operations at Staffmark Group. She began her career with Staffmark Group as a recruiter 30 years ago. Today she heads the enterprise operations department, supporting the field organization in technical solutions, processes, and initiatives.
Many of these solutions became the backbone of Staffmark Group’s strategy during the pandemic. While she is driven by technology, she is focused on people: “The thing that I like best about my role is the diversity of people that I get to work with, including our field and corporate team members, temporary talent, and clients.”

Stacey Lane

Stacey LaneStacey Lane is executive VP of field operations and responsible for leading field teams and developing innovative staffing strategies for its commercial line of business. Prior to COVID-19, Lane was a self-proclaimed “road warrior,” visiting hundreds of branches and client locations across the U.S. each year. For a period of time that came to a halt, yet Lane found new ways to connect and challenge her teams.
Lane says, “This is not a job for me; it’s my life’s work. After 20 years in the staffing industry, I’m still excited about this company and this industry. I look forward to continuing the journey and working with our team to impact more lives.”

Jennifer Prospero

Jennifer ProsperoCFO Jennifer Prospero joined Staffmark Group 16 years ago to be a
part of an organization and industry that changes lives. While she is responsible for all financial aspects of the organization, she says that she is most fulfilled by building relationships: “I’ve never sought out to be a behind-the-desk accountant. I want to build relationships and
make a difference in others’ lives. While numbers drive the business, people drive the numbers – and I welcome any opportunity to connect and help our others reach their goals.”

‘Instrumental in managing recent changes’

Rob Zandbergen is Managing Corporate Executive Officer at Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. and the head of Recruit group’s global staffing business unit, RGF Staffing. With annual revenue of approximately 12 billion US dollars, RGF Staffing is one of the world’s leading HR service providers, headquartered in the Netherlands.

Creating greater value

Previously, Rob was CEO and CFO of the publicly listed USG People. He has been active in the staffing sector since early 2003. Under his leadership, the staffing business of Recruit and the activities of USG People were successfully combined in a global business unit as part of the Recruit group network. Rob: “I am passionate about further developing our industry and growing the position of RGF Staffing in the current times in which people and technology can create even greater value.”

In order to develop its worldwide activities more effectively, Recruit Global Staffing has decided to make some changes in the Executive Management Team. As of April 1st the Executive Management will consist of five members.

From a three to a five-member Executive Management Team

Recruit Global Staffing’s Executive Management Team will be expanded from three to five members. Michael Withmer will be appointed Executive Management member in his role as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Mike already fulfils that role, but is not yet part of the Executive management. Han Oey becomes the new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Han is currently Global Director Business Development & Strategy at Recruit Global Staffing. Jun Onimaru will take on the role of Chief of Staff (CoS). He is currently CFO at The CSI Companies. Graeme Maude remains in his position as COO at Recruit Global Staffing.

Geirnaerdt leaves Executive Management

Leen Geirnaerdt will step down and leave the organisation. Geirnaerdt worked for the company for 17 years and was appointed CFO in 2010. In this capacity, she played a major role in USG People’s successful transition to a Recruit Group company. CEO Rob Zandbergen will take over Leen’s management duties.

Recruit Global Staffing’s ceo Rob Zandbergen is included in the Management Scope's Top 100 of supervisory directors in the Netherlands. He enters this year’s list at number 95. Rob is a member of the supervisory boards of energy company Eneco and the Dutch Flower Group.

Various positions

Rob: "I’ve always held advisory and supervisory positions. In the past, I was a member of the supervisory boards of Kliq (employment agency), EMIS (market research agency) and SNT (call centre company). I want to do something in return for society and other companies, which is why I also hold various advisory and management positions at Tilburg University, Defence and the foundation ‘Future of Technology’.”

Main focus is Recruit Global Staffing

About his debut in the top 100 Rob says: "It’s always nice to be on lists, but my main focus is on Recruit Global Staffing. I think my role as supervisory director also helps Recruit Global Staffing, because it increases my network.”

Rob Zandbergen, CEO Recruit Global Staffing, recently gave an interview on the Dutch radio show ‘BNR Zakendoen’. In the twenty-minute interview with host Thomas van Zijl and entrepreneur Marja Ruigrok he addressed different developments in the labour market, as well as our company’s strategy.

‘Economies are performing well’

In the discussion Zandbergen shines his light on the current state of the economy. "In all of our markets there is a shortage of personnel and a strong demand for temporary workers. I think that is a good sign. It indicates that many economies are performing well.”

Recruit Global Staffing

Zandbergen also explained why USG People changed its name after the acquisition by Recruit Holdings, and that in spite of the name change, the short-term impact of the takeover is limited. “Recruit Holdings is not so much a Japanese company, as a global entity. And since it’s mainly a financial holding company, its business operations retain a lot of freedom to make their own decisions.” Recruit Holdings consists of three strategic units: HR Technology, Media & Solutions, and Staffing (Recruit Global Staffing). In Europe USG People still exists in four countries with underlying brands.

Artificial Intelligence

"After the takeover we’re ready for the future, that's the most important aspect," says Zandbergen. A future in which artificial intelligence will play an increasingly important role. "AI ensures that we can be more productive. Especially in key parts of the recruitment process. But the human touch will always remain. Finding the exact right match remains a people business.”

One step ahead

Zandbergen also gives an insight into Recruit Global Staffing, such as strategy. "We only acquire companies if they add value to our organisation. We are not going to buy for the sake of it. We wait until the right moment.” Regarding new, disruptive competitors on the staffing market Zandbergen said: "An interesting development. I think we will always be one step ahead because of our decades-long experience with people, and because of our expertise in bringing candidates and organisations together.”
